If you are in the master phase of your studies then a Shell Assessed Internship is an excellent way to understand the impact you can make in the Energy industry and to decide what career is right for you.
Various locations:Amsterdam, Assen, Den Haag, Moerdijk, Pernis, Rijswijk, Rotterdam
Lasting typically 12 weeks but sometimes even 12 months, your time in an assessed internship will see you having a full day-to-day involvement in actual projects selected to match your interests and abilities. You will join a project team and work alongside Shell employees who are all professionals in their fields.To ensure that you will get the most from the experience, a supervisor and a mentor will support you directly while you undertake regular assessments throughout your internship. Their perspectives will contribute to your understanding of the business, and its demands and rewards.

Capacity: How well you absorb information, analyse problems, make fact-based decisions and propose innovative solutions.
Achievement: How well you get things done, for example your drive, resilience, self-confidence, and organisational skills.
Relationships: How well you work in teams, communicate and respect others
Entry Requirement: to apply for the Shell Assessed Internships, you must be in your final or penultimate year of study (master phase) at a recognised University.

During the application process you will be asked for your preferred area of interest/topics; you can also express your areas of interest in your cover letter.
Do not wait for the deadline!
Our 2020 Assessed Internships are open to master students until 31st December 2020. Interns can start throughout the year. As we need time to complete the application process and to find a suitable project,we strongly recommend students to submit their application 3 to 4 months in advance of their preferred starting date.
